Is it really November?
While shopping the other day, I was amazed that most stores have or were in the process of putting out Christmas trees and Christmas decorations. It made me sad as I realized we have a short window to focus on the holidays in November.
Veterans Day is a federal holiday observed annually on November 11th, honoring men and women who have served in the U.S. military. Veterans day began on November 11th, 1919, when U.S. President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed it Armistice Day to honor veterans of World War I. It took place at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
Thank you to all our veterans and active-duty military for your service to our country and thank you to their family and friends as well for the sacrifices they make. Stay safe!

Thanksgiving Day is another annual national holiday in November celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. It is commonly a day where American households anticipate the turkey, amazing sides and desserts, the food coma, and football naps. As you reflect, what are you thankful for?
