This month we have a couple of things to share with you that have recently changed.

For Clients with Marketplace / ACA health plans for 2021 there is a new
Special Enrollment Period where You can enroll in or change Marketplace / ACA health insurance plans from April 15, 2021 through August 15, 2021.

Federal tax credits (aka Tax subsidies) for 2021 health Marketplace plans have been re-calculated and there is the possibility for increased subsidies.
If you have a new tax subsidy it will be applied to premiums starting 5/1/2021. Any possible retroactive subsidy due to you will be reconciled when You file your 2021 Taxes.

Another Recent Change to be aware of is with the Federal Tax Filing Deadline being changed for Tax year 2020 from April 15, 2021 to May 17 2021. Here is a very informative link that goes over those changes:
